Strategy Education are working with a college in Essex who are looking for an associate lecturer of Maths to join their teaching team.
You will be required to contribute to the development of the curriculum area and work with the curriculum leader to carry out all duties and responsibilities in line with the students needs. You will be required to create resources and regularly set and mark work according to college policies and to monitor and report on the progress of students through review and reporting procedures
You will be required to attend parents’ consultation evening, interview evening and other similar college events and to interview prospective students
Candidates with a degree are welcome to apply as the college would be delighted to provide the support required to follow a route of teacher training. If you already have a teaching qualification or are already working towards your PTTLS / DTTLS then this would be an ideal environment to build on your experience. You will require an expertise and passion for your subject area and have the ability to relate to staff and students, hit targets and reflect on your own performance.
